Nature’s Woodwork

Picture of the grain in wood that has been worn down over time from the elements.

Picture of interesting "sculptures" made in wood from natural erosion, surrounded by moss. Picture of what's left of a tree standing in the woods as it has been sculpted by natural elements to reveal interesting patterns in the bark and branches.

Nature’s Woodwork captures the intricate and beautiful wood sculptures formed by the elements and natural forces in the Michigan woods. These photos, taken around my home in Belmont, Michigan, showcase nature’s artistry as it carves and shapes the wood into unique and captivating forms. Each image highlights the natural processes that reveal rich hues and organic beauty in the Michigan woods.
