Clarion Call

I desired the world and the grace
was swept away and the logic
became circular.

Only easy living and the sweet life
of limited mind became essential
to the day-to-day.

But we all want a bigger view.
We want the clear mountain streams
and to chop wood, and carry water.

So here, just now at the keyboard
I found the working answer, not
drunk, not fucking wavering.
