Ross Freshwater
Ross Freshwater is a sixth generation Yooper with family roots in Eagle Harbor, Michigan. For most of his career, Ross worked as a high school social studies teacher, sharing with his students his curiosity for the wider world. He now operates a mental health therapy office. Ross finds photography to be a great way to slow down and appreciate the scenery in front of him. The many moods of Lake Superior make a never-ending stream of vivid shots for him. Most of his work focuses on the Keweenaw Peninsula, where his family has their home.
