These photographs were taken in the summer of 2013 on a camping trip in Bay County, Michigan. The shoreside wildlife was abundant, from the common Herring Gull at the dock to the rarer migratory Sanderling. We often spent hours by the coast, stalking the Killdeer and avoiding the heat.
